ABOUT CORE IRELAND
We believe that the best way to help yourself is to help someone else
CORE Ireland is a place where community members can volunteer and experience the ‘Joy of Giving’ while doing something worthwhile for the community. It is a place to find friendship and fellowship and for those receiving help to feel less isolated or alone.
We aim to help the more vulnerable members of our community feel cared for and welcomed as valued members of the community. CORE Ireland empowers the members of the community to find, within themselves, new strengths and abilities, and to find a sense of fulfilment, purpose, enjoyment, and to have fun and be creative. Each person who comes to CORE Ireland leaves a lasting impact with their own unique personality and ideas. This impact helps CORE Ireland develop and grow to reach its full potential as a community-focused organisation.

We rely on community involvement to achieve our mission and vision for CORE Ireland. From volunteering your time, skills, knowledge, and expertise; donating money, food, and other items; to simply distributing our message in your community – we would not be able to do what we do without your help.
We strive to give back to our community through the following initiatives:
- Creating a platform for volunteering
- Encouraging community group involvement
- Providing support with our in-person events
- Addressing food insecurity with our Nourish Project
- Providing a platform for gaining work experience
- Enabling skills development and growth through our courses
- Enabling businesses to invest in Corporate Social Responsibility
