The Nourish Project

The Nourish Project

One of our local initiatives is the Nourish Food Project. This popular program involves Core volunteers collecting non- perishable food items from the public via Schools, clubs, businesses and other organisations in the Navan area.

We also collect food items from Supermarkets through a national organisation called Food Cloud. Any food collected is then placed into suitable parcel format and distributed to families in need in the Navan area.

The Joy of Giving is a key concept of the Nourish Food Project. Business groups, employees, students and members of the public can benefit on a personal level through an increased social awareness and a sense of inclusion.

How can you help:

We have a drop off box for non-perishable food items and toiletries: Next to Nature shop in Navan shopping Centre.

OR

Adopt the Nourish food Project through a Sports organisation, Business, School or club or community group.

Our goal is to extend this Nourish Project to all of Co. Meath and beyond. We feel that this initiative creates social awareness among students and their families.

We would be happy to come to your school to speak with students about this project and discuss how we could further develop this initiative together.

If you would like to learn more, please contact one of our volunteers!
